Today was the first day of shooting. I decided to go to The Winter Gardens to go and take some shots for the magazine cover. I went with my team so I could get a variety of photos as well as some behind the scene shots. I walked through the whole museum and took as many photos as I could. However, with it being a public space, there were a lot of people there so I had to make sure that I didn't get anyone in the shot. There were also a lot of children there as well running about so I also had to be careful with the equipment and to make sure no children were in the shots as well. I would either take photos where there weren't a lot of people or no people at all or I would just wait until no one was in the shot. I also made sure to take a variety of angles and to be careful with the lighting and the reflection in some areas of the museum. The PowerPoint below shows the images I had taken as well as behind the scene shots that were taken.

Today I planned to take some external photos for our project however the weather decided to have other plans. Before I went out to gather these photos, I wanted to check the weather forecast to see what the weather was like. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and it was going to rain so I decided that would be a better idea to change the date and take photos when it wasn't going to rain. I messaged the team to inform them of the situation and agreed it would be best to take photos when the weather was better.

Today I decided to go out and take some more photos but this time for the print advert. The print advert was going to be witchcraft themed and I was going to be in the photos while my team takes the photos and behind the scene shots. For this, I had to wear a witchy-looking outfit so I decided that wearing a dark, modern outfit would be great for this. I brought some of my witchcraft equipment to use as props as well as creating ideas for photos I could take. The area I went to for these photos was Barnes Park as I felt this was a really nice aesthetic for these photos. I took a variety of photos so I was able to choose the ones I liked and the ones I didn't like.
